A Church Refurbishment team has been formed to plan and deliver a refurbishment of the church sanctuary at Dunbarney to meet the changing needs of the Church in the medium to long term. As an expansion zone for Perth and hence with the expected growth in Bridge of Earn and its surrounding area, the plan is to bring the Church building up to a standard that will serve its needs and the needs of the congregation for many years into the future.
Following a rigorous selection process James F Stephen architects of Glamis has been selected to provide the architectural services for the first stage of the Dunbarney Church renovation. James F Stephen was established over 40 years ago and has a wide experience in church new build and renovation projects. The Project Architect is Mr Paul Stephen a partner in the Practice and an experienced Chartered Architect.
A series of meetings is now underway with Paul and the Church Project Group to discuss and develop design proposals that meet our specific requirements as outlined in our Refurbishment Brief Document. It is expected that these will be ready to share more widely by early summer 2020.
The committee sees this as a highly exciting time and a wonderful opportunity for the Church and would encourage anyone who would like to contribute to this project to contact the Reverend Allan Wilson through the Church Office or by contacting the Chairperson of the Committee, Mr George Bell on 07951973255 or at [email protected]
